Ok, so this might be it for a while. We are leaving on Monday, in the Sienna, for the LOOOOONNNGGGG drive to Mn/Wi. With the kids in tow and all of the crap for the garage sale, we are on our way. I will try to update while up in my "God's country." Heaven knows that Texas is NOT my idea "God's country." It is far from it!!!!! My only question is, Why would God want you to suffer in this heat??? Isn't that what hell is about, hot???? "God's country" to me, is a place where miracles happen, ie, trees changing to beautiful colors. Colors that are so vibrant it almost blinds you. Nope, here there is just really green and REALLY brown. That is my soapbox for today....... Sorry to all that LOVE Texas and think it is so great, but you all know me and know that I am not happy...... Not that I don't love you guys......
We had a wonderful playdate this week at JD's house. I think that I must say that we all have the cutest kids on the planet, including my nieces and nephews, along with B's daughter Miss F. I think that we all done well!!!! The kids had a blast and we were so tired. I think that they are still trying to recooperate(sp?).
Well, wish us luck on our 16 hour drive....... I'm a little anxious!!!! Like I said, I will try to update you on all of the happenings up there!!!!

Stuck up people
Can I tell you how much I hate stuck up people. Let me define stuck up...... These are the people who think, let me repeat that, THINK they are better than others. What makes them this way is talking about other people, even though the other person knows that they are talking about them. Yes, Vanessa, I am talking about you! You are probably wondering why I am on a rampage. Well, I went the the pool yesterday, yes I know that I am not pretty, that I am overweight, and that I need a haircut. Vanessa, you didn't need to discuss that with your friend while I was standing right there. I know that you were discussing me, because your friend asked you something and you nodded towards me and she immediately looked in my direction. Then you both proceded to laugh. Just because I can't afford the best swimsuit and spend $50 just on the top, doesn't mean that you need to, well, I 'll leave it at that........ Just know that it hurt my feelings. You don't even know me..............
Anyway, on a lighter note, J was tested for K-3 this week. Of course my daughter shone!!!! She knew everything that she needed to and more. She drew a cross(most kids her age draw it as two parallel lines instead of perpendicular) and a circle on her own. She also threw the ball harder than any other child that day!!!! She told Mrs. M that she didn't know her letters yet, but she was working on them. She counted all the way up to 20 and she knew all of the colors. Mrs. M told me that she was very impressed on how well spoken she was. That shocked her. Something to be proud of. So, she will start K3 in the fall. Ugh, my baby!!!!

12 More Days
I am over the scary moment and on to bigger and better things...... Only 12 more days until we leave for the great and best state of Minnesota!!!!!! Nana and Papa, ARE YOU READY FOR THE INVASION???????
A has a cavity. Very upset about that! Seeing since he is very good about brushing and flossing. Still can't figure it out. The dentist said that he couldn't even see it. He wouldn't have even thought that he had one, until he looked at the x-ray. So, he will go next Thursday to have it taken care of. It also really sucks, because the kids get used to a dentist and then BOOM! So sorry, we don't take your insurance anymore....... Turns out that the COA decided to change their dental insurance coverage without us ever knowing. Of course, there are really no dentists that take this new insurance. We did finally find one, but their pediatric dentist only comes in once a month. Hmmmmmm. See how fun that will be to schedule.......
Training is over, so now I am offically free...... Tomorrow, we are going to go to the library, get a new swimsuit for me, and then come home and go swimming..... The rest of the week I don't have anything planned???? Any ideas???

Scary moment
Ok. So I have been able to go out and run, off the support of the treadmill, outside with the real people watching. Well, today, I got home from my training and told Mr. V, I was outta here and going to get my daily exercise in. On the way out, I put on my iPod...... Ms. J decided to follow me out the door, to walk me to the sidewalk. I gave her a hug, and told her to go back in with daddy. Well, I thought she did, after all, she was walking back that way. I turned up the iPod and went on my merry little way. Had I not had the iPod on so loudly, I might have heard her....... I went about my business, not ever looking back. You can guess where this is going....... She decided to go for a little walk after me........ In the middle of the street....... Mr. V, well, it took him a while to figure out that she wasn't in the house. Why you ask????? Well, he was watching TV. I do admit that sometimes she escapes under my watch, but she doesn't get as far as she did today. She walked all the way down to our friends house, which is a good two/three blocks away from our house. Luckily, a kind neighbor saw her and tried to guide her home. By that time, Mr. V realized she was gone and jumped in the truck. He found her. THANK GOD!!!! I don't think I could have lived with myself, if something would have happened to her. I don't think I would have ever been forgiven either. Note to self, walk child back to the door and make sure she gets back in before turning iPod on and running..................
