Ok. First off let me just say that I am dreading the first day of school. I have a student that hit the AP so bad last year that she had to go have an MRI. If that happens, then I quit. I didn't sign up to be beat up. Then my teammate finds out that she has a student that is in the psychward right now because he beat his mom up so bad that she had to go to the emergency room....... WHY ARE THESE KIDS ALLOWED TO BE IN SCHOOL????? They should be in an alternative school for kids with ED problems..... These are 2nd graders people!!!!!!
Secondly, (I know this is not in order of my title.... but....) Cooks has lost all of A's MRI info. Yeah, lost it..... Dr. D is just a dumbfounded as we are....... This has never happened he told us. Of course it had to happen to us, right..... They are going to try to do it again, without sedating A, but he is 5 and they are expecting him to lay still for 30 minutes....... I don't think that I could do that..... So, he goes in again on Monday afternoon.
My next two points have to do with commercials...... What in the world were the advertisers thinking when they wrote the Cialis and Viagra commercials? Viva Viagra??? What the hell........ Hmmmm, I don't know about you but it makes me want to go get some..... So does the Cialis commercial..... I especially like when the older couples are laying in separate bathtubs - OUTSIDE????? I really like that you have to go to the ER if you experience an erection lasting longer than 4 hours. WHAT?????? I guess I just don't get it.......

Long time.......
It has been a long time since I have been on here. I guess that there was way too much to be done when I got home. I thought that I would come home and the house would be clean, etc. But Of course not! That is another story!!!! Since we have been home, tons of things have been happening!
1). A has been super sick. About a week after we got back from Nana and Papa's, he was playing with his daddy. Well, he ended up somehow, hurting his neck. This in turn put him into what they call a tonic seizure. Well, that is what they think happened. We called 911, etc. so, he has had an EEG and will have a MRI on the 20th. Meanwhile, he ended up in the ER with a high fever and some virus that lasted over 10 days. We went to the Dr. and it turns out it was an ear infection....... But he ran fever for over 10 days. So, J and I had to sit around the house so A could get better. How exciting!! Needless to say, the fever is gone, but the attitude is back...... Will keep you posted on the results of both the EEG and the MRI. Hopefully, they are nothing....
2). Chelsea the dog has been sick also. She has been having these "episodes" of complete loss of control of her body and total confusion. This mainly happens after we have been throwing the ball. I know, I know, it is too hot to have the dog out and throwing the ball. Believe me, we NEVER throw the ball in the heat of the day!!! We always threw it in the early morning, and anyone who knows A, we are up at the crack of dawn..... Or we throw late at night, after the sun has gone down. So, we would throw for not even 5 minutes and she would be come disoriented and collapse. Sometimes, she would hide herself in a corner. Very scary to watch. Well, we took her to our vet. They said that she had an upper respiratory infection and put her on some antibiotics. They also ran a full blood panel just to rule out anything else. Blood was good, but we were still having episodes. We didn't throw the ball for a while, until she was done with the pills. She still had an episode. Called the vet, they sent us to a neurologist. UGH!!! Turns out all she has is something called "exercise induced collapse in labs." No other fancy name than that. So our poor dog can't retireve.
3). J is fine. She has a bigger and better attitude..... Gotta love her though for being so strong willed! Some days are harder than others...... :-) She will start Pre-K in the fall, so we are busy getting together school stuff for her. She is very picky, so I hope she will be fine with the uniform.... I feel bad for her that she had to sit around with her brother sick, but we found things to do. She is VERY good at putting together an ABC puzzle now...... She can swim all by herself now, and is realizing that it is much better to do that, than hang on her mamma.
Well, there it is in a nutshell. I know that I am missing somethings, if I remember, I will post later. Also, when I download the pictures from our trip, I will post those too!

AHHHH! MN/WI!!!!
Well, we made it! I won't go into the gory details, but we are here and safe. The kids are already worn out. We have seen the cousins almost everyday and have been swimming every day. The weather is beautiful, no humidity, etc. The garage sale went well. I was VERY surprised at how well we did. The reunion was great. Drank WAY too much and felt horrible the next day. I don't think the I got out of bed until about 3 the next afternoon. Poor Mr. V. He came in that day and it was our anniversary. Hmmmmmm, couldn't do much. Feel bad for him...... Thank God for Nana and Papa!!! Well, just wanted to say that we are ok and here. You might have to pry me away..... Kicking and screaming!!!! Hey, Nicholsons - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

I'm Leaving on a Jet Sienna!!!
Ok, so this might be it for a while. We are leaving on Monday, in the Sienna, for the LOOOOONNNGGGG drive to Mn/Wi. With the kids in tow and all of the crap for the garage sale, we are on our way. I will try to update while up in my "God's country." Heaven knows that Texas is NOT my idea "God's country." It is far from it!!!!! My only question is, Why would God want you to suffer in this heat??? Isn't that what hell is about, hot???? "God's country" to me, is a place where miracles happen, ie, trees changing to beautiful colors. Colors that are so vibrant it almost blinds you. Nope, here there is just really green and REALLY brown. That is my soapbox for today....... Sorry to all that LOVE Texas and think it is so great, but you all know me and know that I am not happy...... Not that I don't love you guys......
We had a wonderful playdate this week at JD's house. I think that I must say that we all have the cutest kids on the planet, including my nieces and nephews, along with B's daughter Miss F. I think that we all done well!!!! The kids had a blast and we were so tired. I think that they are still trying to recooperate(sp?).
Well, wish us luck on our 16 hour drive....... I'm a little anxious!!!! Like I said, I will try to update you on all of the happenings up there!!!!

Stuck up people
Can I tell you how much I hate stuck up people. Let me define stuck up...... These are the people who think, let me repeat that, THINK they are better than others. What makes them this way is talking about other people, even though the other person knows that they are talking about them. Yes, Vanessa, I am talking about you! You are probably wondering why I am on a rampage. Well, I went the the pool yesterday, yes I know that I am not pretty, that I am overweight, and that I need a haircut. Vanessa, you didn't need to discuss that with your friend while I was standing right there. I know that you were discussing me, because your friend asked you something and you nodded towards me and she immediately looked in my direction. Then you both proceded to laugh. Just because I can't afford the best swimsuit and spend $50 just on the top, doesn't mean that you need to, well, I 'll leave it at that........ Just know that it hurt my feelings. You don't even know me..............
Anyway, on a lighter note, J was tested for K-3 this week. Of course my daughter shone!!!! She knew everything that she needed to and more. She drew a cross(most kids her age draw it as two parallel lines instead of perpendicular) and a circle on her own. She also threw the ball harder than any other child that day!!!! She told Mrs. M that she didn't know her letters yet, but she was working on them. She counted all the way up to 20 and she knew all of the colors. Mrs. M told me that she was very impressed on how well spoken she was. That shocked her. Something to be proud of. So, she will start K3 in the fall. Ugh, my baby!!!!
